J.B. Crockett

JB Crockett is a rising country singer and songwriter whose high-energy performances engage any crowd. JB’s electric personality and smooth, deep voice, combined with his easy manner of directly interacting with his fans, allow him to achieve his goal of making everyone in attendance feel truly appreciated.

Born in Indiana and raised in Central Florida, JB Crockett spent much of his youth listening to his family sing and play in the church worship band. Although never a singer, JB often played the drums and occasionally watched his father play the guitar. He chose the path of racing dirt bikes and playing sports rather than pursuing a passion in music. JB continued to play multiple sports all the way through high school, and then picked up his dirt bike racing career soon after graduation, which unfortunately ended after a tragic dirt bike accident.

With nowhere else to turn, JB decided to follow his now wife and move to Gainesville, Fl with the aspirations of attending the University of Florida. Unbeknownst to him, he would not only be accepted and graduate from the University of Florida, one of JB’s Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity brothers would have a beautiful Taylor guitar he would allow JB to play until he could save up enough money to buy his own. After too many hours of practicing in the living room, JB finally purchased his own acoustic guitar and the practicing hours got longer. On a random whim, JB and his roommate agreed to play an open mic night- 15 minutes- 3 songs- for free. After a few open mics, his passion for music escalated, and it hasn’t stopped since.

Drawing inspiration from both traditional county music and Southern rock, JB mixes in a dash of modern sound to create a musical recipe for success that will make you perk up your ears, turn your head, and understand why his fan base grows with every performance.

Over the last few years, JB has had the opportunity to play with Tracey Lawrence, Easton Corbin, Frankie Ballard, Chase Bryant, Old Dominion, Big SMO, Michael Ray, Dylan Scott, and most recently, Kane Brown. In January 2016, JB released his first self-written debut EP, with the album charting in the top 50. He is continuing to write daily and plans to release a full album soon!
